If you are looking for a tree to hug, the Pinchot Sycamore in Simsbury, Connecticut may not be the right tree. The trunk is over 28 feet around! Its height is nearly 100 feet and canopy width over 140. So, it would be very hard to hug this tree. The Pinchot is the largest tree in CT and is at least 200 years old—a very old and wise tree.
